This is our independent ratings system:
All (A) – The All (A) rating indicates that the content rated by Comic Book Ratings is safe for people of all ages to read.
Children (C) – The Children (C) rating indicates that the content rated by Comic Book Ratings is designed for children ages 5 and up.
Youth (Y) – The Youth (Y) rating indicates that the content rated by Comic Book Ratings is designed for youth ages 10 and up.
Teen (T) – The Teen (T) rating indicates that the content rated by Comic Book Ratings is designed for teens ages 13 and up.
Mature (M) – The Mature (M) rating indicates that the content rated by Comic Book Ratings is designed for people ages 17 and up.
Adult (X) – The Adult (X) rating indicates that the content rated by Comic Book Ratings is designed exclusively for adults ages 18 or 21 (according to your local laws) and up.
Star (*) – The Star (*) rating is in addition to the All, Children, Youth, Teen, Mature, and Adult ratings. It indicates that there may be hidden features within the digital entertainment that were not rated by Comic Book Ratings. The Star (*) rating will primarily be included on comic books that contain extras bundled with it.
Exclamation (!) – The Exclamation (!) rating is in addition to the All, Children, Youth, Teen, and Mature ratings. It indicates that there may be extra content within the product that was not enough to force a higher rating, but the content may not be suitable for the lower ages of the rating group.
